Biography

Mr. Md. Morshedul Haque serving Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) as a Lecturer in the Department of Environmental Science & Engineering under the faculty of Textile Chemical Engineering since May 2022. He began his professional career as a Research Assistant at Hydrobiogeochemistry and Pollution Control Laboratory, Dept. of Environmental Sciences, Jahangirnagar University under Organization for Woman in Science for the Developing World (OWSD), ICT Campus-Starda Costiera 11-34151 Trieste-Italy funded project. He also worked as a research intern at Soil Environmental Laboratory, International Environmental Research Institute (IERI), Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), Gwangju, South Korea. Before joining at BUTEX, he worked as a Lecturer at Department of Environment Protection Technology, German University Bangladesh (GUB), Gazipur, Dhaka. He attended and managed different professional seminars, workshops, and conferences at the national and international level. He is passionate to share his knowledge and expertise with students for inspiring the next generation and make the change.

Education
Mr. Md. Morshedul Haque has an outstanding academic background. He obtained prestigious awards and success in every stage of his education. He completed his S.S.C. from Bidyut Unnayon Board Secondary School, Bheramara, Kushtia, and H.S.C from Government Science College, Tejgoan, Dhaka in 2010 and 2012, respectively. Mr. Md. Morshedul Haque completed B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.S. in Environmental Sciences from Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh with an esteemed academic record. He also accomplished a Training in Chemical Analysis and Quality Control from Training Institute for Chemical Industries (TICI), Central training Institute of Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) under the Ministry of Industry, Bangladesh. He was awarded the National Science and Technology (NST) fellowship by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of Bangladesh, 2018-19. He also achieved Merit Scholarship from the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education Scholarship, Government of Bangladesh, 2019, and Jahangirnagar University Merit Scholarship during the period of his B.Sc. degree. He has published important articles on pollution and health risk assessment, food security, water pollution, greenhouse gas emissions, and climate change in many recognized international journals.
