Message from the Provost of G. M. A. G. Osmani Hall

I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to G.M.A.G. Osmani Hall, the vibrant and thriving residential hall at the Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX). Our hall has been a source of pride for the university, providing a safe, inclusive, and inspiring living environment for our students. G.M.A.G. Osmani Hall, named after General Muhammad Ataul Gani Osmani, a key figure in the Bangladesh Liberation War, stands as a symbol of our commitment to fostering academic excellence and personal growth. It’s not just a place to rest your head but a community that fosters lifelong friendships, personal development, and a sense of belonging. As the Provost of G.M.A.G. Osmani Hall, I want to assure you that we are dedicated to creating an atmosphere that encourages academic achievement, cultural enrichment, and character building. Our hall is not just a place to sleep; it’s a place to learn, grow, and make memories that will last a lifetime.

We are committed to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all our residents. We encourage open communication, respect for diversity, and a strong sense of responsibility. We want each of our residents to feel supported, heard, and valued during their time at G.M.A.G. Osmani Hall. Our dedicated staff and hall council members are here to assist you in any way possible, whether it’s addressing your academic concerns, providing guidance, organizing events, or simply lending a friendly ear. We are here to support you throughout your journey at BUTEX and help you make the most of your university experience.

I encourage all of you to actively participate in the various hall activities, get to know your fellow residents, and embrace the rich tapestry of experiences that life at G.M.A.G. Osmani Hall has to offer.
